NORTHWOOD HOMES, Royal Oak, Michigan

A vacant parcel of property in a significant Royal Oak neighborhood became available from a local church.  Our client successfully negotiated the purchase of the property and requested we develop a site plan to maximize its potential. The in-fill site was developed with three new homes.

The existing neighborhood consists of early 20th century single family homes of primarily brick construction. Exterior materials and details were influenced by period architecture, while interiors were planned as open spaces designed for modern living.  Abundant use of windows on each elevation floods the interiors with light. A common drive and attached garages were oriented to the rear of the site allowing broad front lawns.
